Cruise liners

Meyer Werft is one of the leading European shipyards based in Germany that specialises in producing luxurious cruise liners. A cruise liner can accommodate more than 4’000 passengers and staff members. Up to 20 decks are fire protected by a high-pressure water mist system. The pipe layout is being installed partially with the FIPE system.

The fast and secure installation reduces the installation time and ensures a first time right connection. Thanks to its mobility and low weight of only 10 kg, the FIPE installation equipment can easily be carried around on-board. The lean design of FIPE fittings results in a considerable weight reduction of the pipe installation.
