Mega hospital

The largest hospital construction project in the history of Denmark, the New University Hospital in Aarhus, will be built onto the existing Aarhus University Hospital to form a single hospital complex. The resulting New University Hospital will be the size of a Danish provincial town. The eight new buildings encompassing 250’000 m2 will be fire protected by a high-pressure water mist system. The entire pipe construction including 29’000 nozzles is being installed with the FIPE system.

Due to the easy and safe installation of the FIPE fittings, the installation time for one building complex can be reduced from eighteen to four weeks. The compact FIPE hydraulic pump and press tools ensure excellent installation mobility, especially for a multi-story building. The close collaboration with the FIPE team during the planning phase leads to an optimized installation process with a reduced number of fittings and installation steps.
